What to Wear & How to Prep

Everything you need to show up ready. Follow this and your photos will thank you.

What to Wear

  • Solid colors photograph best — they keep the focus on you, not your clothes.
  • Layers work great for sports and outdoor sessions (hoodies, warm-ups, letterman jackets).
  • Wear what feels like YOU. Comfortable beats formal every time.
  • For team/couple shots, coordinate tones (e.g. navy + gray) instead of matching exactly.
  • Avoid big logos, neon colors, and busy patterns — they steal attention and date the photo.
  • Skip brand-new shoes until you've broken them in — you'll be moving around.

What to Bring

  • Water and a small snack — sessions can run 45–90 minutes.
  • Any gear that matters: ball, glove, jersey, letterman jacket, instrument, etc.
  • A brush/comb and touch-up items for quick fixes between shots.
  • For families: a favorite small toy or blanket can help little ones relax.

Timing & Arrival

  • Arrive 10–15 minutes early so you're relaxed when we start shooting.
  • Eat something beforehand — low energy shows in photos.
  • Planning a haircut or fresh shave? Do it 2–3 days before, not the day of.

Weather Backup Plan

  • Light rain or clouds can actually look great — I'll confirm the day before.
  • If weather truly ruins the plan, we reschedule free of charge. You'll never lose your booking.
  • Have an indoor backup location in mind (gym, field house) for sports sessions.

Your Photos

  • Edited photos are delivered in 1–4 days through your own online gallery link.
  • You'll get print-ready downloads and can share the gallery with family.
  • Galleries stay online for 90 days — download your favorites before they close.
